Manga held back until September

Hey everybody! It's L. I'm sorry to inform you that Sare and I's manga "The Adventures of the Poke'mon Academy" may be held back until Sept. 20-25th. Sorry for the inconvenience....but on the bright side, Sare and I are gonna be blogging more soon! And I'm also working on drawing better and more realistic anime so I hope I start posting my pics they look AWESOME! Plus I'm teaching Sare how to draw, just so you know. lol We'll be blogging more soon! ;)

Poke'mon manga update! ;)

Hey everybody! This is Lauren LA is giving you the scoop on Sare and I's NEW, OWN, and FIRST manga, "The adventures of the Lapras Poke'mon Academy"! The plot is based off of the way many people think goes on in the Poke'mon world right before the journey starts for many with twists and turns and maybe even a few Psychics. The story starts when 3 girls wake up to start their first day at the "Lapras Poke'mon Academy", a prestigious private school that teaches young people the skills it takes to become a trainer, coordinator, and can even earn points to go to an Ace Trainer Academy! Nobody knows each other and nobody seems to like each other at first, until something pulls them closer together and strengthens their bond overtime. Here's everybody's main personality; Sare Specializes in; Fire and Poison types; A passionate trainer with fierce battle skills, but can't quite make a "delicate and graceful" display with her Poke'mon. Mars; specializes in; Water and electric types; A sweet girl who's one of the smallest and nicest people in her class hasn't quite mastered battling and coordinating yet but knows how to care for Poke'mon with love and kindness. Lauren (L) Specializes in; Phychic and Dark types; Would rather have her Poke'mon drink tea and wear perfume than make them fight other Poke'mon. And does she have a knack for battle or is she using some sort of assist? And what happens later that could change them forever? Plus, what's with all the odd things going on in the school?! Find out in "The Adventures Of The Lapras Poke'mon Academy"!

NOTE 2 (LOL); This manga is originally drawn in English format, so you are not required to read from right to left (But you can if you like getting confused. lol). So you don't get confused throughout the manga, I'll be labeling the scenes and sentences (I know, it has a nice ring to it. <'U'>) to ensure you don't enrage viewers because they can't read something awesome. I'll be posting sneak peek pics REALLY soon! ;)

Manga series update!

Hey again! OMG (Oh My Girafarig) Sorry for the set backs. lol Sare and I are still work'n out the details for our Poke'mon manga....Our first manga should be out by August 15 hopefully, but if you don't see it by then, feel free to post through the comment box to alert us. ;) I'll also have the scoop on it soon just to give you an idea of what's actually going to happens in the 1st and some of the other volumes! I hope you liked the sneak peak pics and we'll be blogging more soon!

Poke'mon series is back on!

Hey everybody! It's L again saying I am so sorry for tossing you in circles like a Hariyama (lol), but and yes Sare, I'll say it...Due to my lack of letting Sare sign off and running my keyboard keys, I made a small mistake, but the Poke'mon manga series is BACK ON! We're gonna talk about the series I've been coming up with soon, so wish me luck! And everything turned out okay. Yay! We'll be blogging more soon!

Manga notice.....

Hey everybody! Due to some little thingamabobs and doohickeys, I think Sare and I are going to come up with our own actual series! Not Poke'mon, not Digimon, but our own Manga series! But don't tell Sare yet... lol I'll try to come up with different characters, but till then, um.... I'll be drawing? I really don't think Sare knows at all yet. But even when I do things before she knows, we're still besties! We'l be blogging more soon! And I'll tell you how things work out later....

Manga series coming out soon! ;)

Hey everybody! This is Lauren LA coming to you with some AWESOME and EXCITING news! Sare and I were brainstorming and we came up with the idea of having a manga series taking place throughout the Poke'mon regions featuring us, some friends, and people from whatever our imagination can conjure up. lol It's going to be most likely an almost never-ending series of friendship and our love of Poke'mon and anime! We still gotta work all the details out and I gotta take some Awesome with a capital "A" pics to make it even better, but we'll be sending out an update when the first chapter is about to come out. It was soooooooooo awesome! I ended up watching 3 or 4 episodes in one day!

The Poke'mon scoop

Hey everybody! Guess who's got the scoop on Poke'mon Origins? This girl (This is Lauren by the way!)! lol I LOVED it! It's based off some of their oldest video games and even looks like one at the beginning and end. It was really good, but it was a little too fast.... What I mean is that when you watch the next episode it shows what you did before the episode you're currently watching but it doesn't say very much. It's nice and is actually kind of inspiring (Like all the other seasons and eps. weren't inspiring! lol) the way things worked out! I haven't watched the whole series yet though, because Hulu only has so much and I don't know how many eps. they have yet. And I'll be talking about the latest Poke'mon Kalos region eps. as soon as I'm done watching them! And if you want to watch the newest episodes of Poke'mon as soon as they air you can watch them on Saturdays on Cartoon Network at 8:30a/7:30c. But if you don't watch that channel for it's content, because you don't have cable, or you just WON'T get up that early (Like me. lol), Pokemonepisode.org should have it not long after. And BTW, they don't have Poke'mon Origins on Pokemonepisode.org but I think they might one day. And that's the scoop! ;)

"Coversation Mondays" and "Conversation Thursdays" moved to whenever

Hey everybody, This is L with an announcement to make! "Conversation Mondays" and "Conversation Thursdays" is now going to be a whenever thing. What I mean is that it's now held whenever due to my lack of NOT liking it. lol I hope you liked our convos too! ;) We'll try to do one today if we can, but I know for sure I'm gonna be posting up some pics soon and that Sare might bj be posting some of her own pics too. And I'll post the scoop as soon as I can on "Poke'mon Origins". That's all for now! ;D

Conversation Monday!

Hey guys!

   So today Lauren and I came up with a segment idea. We are going to have a conversation! (it sounds boring but I promise that its fun)


     Sare:

 Hey L! I was just wondering what your favorite anime show is. Mine is Sailor Moon. (If you can't already tell. haha).

    Lauren LA;
 Hey Sare! Yeah, Sailor Moon, Poke'mon (The Hoenn region eps.), or Ultra Maniac is my favorite anime. And Sare, you don't have to say "anime show" when it comes to Japanese cartoons. lol I like Ultra Maniac (sub) and Poke'mon (dub). And is this really what we're gonna talk about for our convo Monday?


   Sare:
 I guess it IS what we are going to talk about lol. What is your favorite character in SM? (Sailor Moon). I like Sailor Moon, Sailor V and Sailor Mercury. Sailor Jupiter is okay but girl, she got issues! lol. Sailor Mars is kind of mean. (no offense to the Sailor Mars fans!)
   Man I need to watch something else besides Sailor Moon!

 Yeah you do! lol I think I like all the Sailor Soldiers the best. You can try watching Poke'mon, you can go to http://pokemonepisode.org. But if you want to learn more about poke'mon, you can go to www.pokemon.com to learn how to play the trading card game, find the nearest convention and/or tournament near you, and even play minigames! My favorite would probably be "Eevees tile trial". I've gotten on the highest score boards 1 or 2 times. I like the old retro looking Poke'mon official site with the old characters.... Now it looks a little cheap and all too American for a Japanese anime and manga. lol Don't you think so?

   Sare:
Hahaha! Don't you mean scouts? :-) I definitely will go check it out! Just one more question. (don't laugh) What is the difference between (sub) and (dub)?

  Lauren LA;
 In the English version they call them "scouts" because they change it to fit in better or they mis-read the Japanese script and referred to them as that. It's like how the theme song on Japanese and English sounds different. It's because the sounds are similar but they mean more in Japanese, but they have to make it rhyme and sound natural. And the difference between "Sub" and "Dub" is that "Sub" means "Subtitled" and "Dub" means it was changed to a different language. To remember it's like ordering a sandwich from a fancy restaurant. "Sub" (Let's think of it as a sandwich for a minute.), they usually seem to have only one kind and things you want or know have to be added. And "Dub" is like going to Subway. Get it? lol

     Hey guys!

   Today I drew Sailor Moon Free handed! I think it turned out pretty well, don't you?
The only thing that was not free handed are the eyes. The reason I didn't freehand the eyes is because you have to get the eyes right or it will mess up the entire face.

   I think I did well for my second freehand drawing.
